Prior to launching our jewelry line, Lisa was drawn to the natural gemstones and their metaphysical properties.  It was only natural that her jewelry collection reflect her love for these beautiful and transforming gemstones.  Lisa handpicks all the components that are used in our jewelry line.  She has an eye for beauty, often not knowing how she will use the stones when she purchases them.  She allows the inspiration to unfold naturally and without time constraints.  

On this page, we provide a guide to the metals, stones and crystals currently used in our jewelry line.  As we add new stones and crystals, this page will be updated.

Metals 

Gold Vermeil Chain gold vermeil is a style of gold plating.  Vermeil jewelry has a sterling silver base with a gold plating on top.  With extended wear of gold vermeil jewelry, the gold plating will eventually wear off exposing the sterling silver underneath  

Gold Filled Chain gold filled chain is made from a solid layer of gold that is mechanically bonded to a base metal of sterling silver, brass or some other metal.  High quality gold filled pieces will have the same appearance as karat gold.  With extended wear of gold filed jewelry, the layer of gold will eventually wear off exposing the metal underneath

Sterling Silver is made up of 92.5% fine silver and 7.5% other metals.  With time, any sterling silver piece that is exposed to air will tarnish

Metaphysical Properties of Our Stones and Crystals

Agate provides calming and soothing vibrations, helps to stabilize physical energy

Amazonite is an aid to optimum health.  It is known as the soothing stone, with calming effects on the nervous system and brain.  It can balance the masculine and feminine energies.  Also, similar to Jade, this stone is associated with overall luck, success and wealth

Amethyst has healing powers to help with physical ailments, emotional issues, and in Energy Healing and Chakra balancing

Black Spinel repels negative energy, protects, grounds and creates a feeling of empowerment

Citrine considered the merchant's stone, assists in creating wealth and maintaining it

Clear Quartz helps to expand consciousness to facilitating open communication and stimulating the chakras. Has healing properties that will eliminate energy blockages and allow energy to flow smoothly throughout the body

Hematite helps transform negative energy into positive energy.  A very protective stone that can help one stay grounded

Kyanite  can promote healing dreams, improves psychic energy, said to align all chakras of the body and have a calming effect on all aspects of mind and body

Labradorite balances and protects the aura, raises consciousness and grounds spiritual energies.  It's excellent for strengthening intuition and promoting psychic abilities

Larimar sometimes referred to as the Dolphin stone, this stone is said to be a calming and healing stone

Mica helps eliminate nervous energy, enhances flexibility of thought, aid for insomnia

Moonstone is the stone of hope, also enhances intuition and psychic abilities.  Known as a protective stone, it stimulates confidence, security and creativity

Onyx (black) helps with the development of physical and emotional strength especially during times of grief or stress

Opal enhances cosmic consciousness and stimulates flashes of intuition and insight, yet is a protective stone for deep inner work and meditations

Pearls bring centering and a calming reflection. They give purity, promote faith, charity and integrity. Due to its water and lunar elements, pearls are balancing for the emotions, especially to water signs

Rose Quartz fosters empathy, reconciliation, and forgiveness of others. Lowering stress and tension in the heart, Rose Quartz clears out anger, jealousy, and resentment of others, and allows healing of heart issues and dis-ease associated with holding on to such negative emotions

Selenite shields a person or space from outside influences, it is used for good luck and protection. The powerful vibration of Selenite can clear, open, and activate the Crown and Higher Chakras and is excellent for all types of spiritual work

Silverite often referred to as Mystic Sapphire, Silverite contains the properties of Sapphire bringing peace and balance to mind, body and soul

Smoky Quartz is a great stone for grounding.  Said to be linked with the healing vibrations of the Earth, this stone also amplifies the energy of all the other stones around it.  Known to be a powerful cleanser and detoxifier

Topaz is the symbol of love, a stone of peacefulness and enhances meditative state and psychic abilities

Tourmaline comes in many colors, promotes inspiration and happiness, reducing fear, and building self-confidence. It also balances yin-yang energies. Helps bridge physical with the spiritual
